After hours of hard work, the wall is gone! And yes...that is a hardwood floor in our kitchen. Justin and my dad spent all weekend removing lots of old flooring to reveal this beautiful hidden surprise. The floors definitely need some refinishing, but it's way better than vinyl. In case you ever wonder, it's true what they say about renovating...especially an older house...no project is ever as small or inexpensive as you plan.
